AND PARTS OF THE ENGRAVING MACHINE
Engraving
machine was planned and built to carry out KNURLING
procedures on metal wires.
This procedure is performed by means of 2 or 3 knurling tools
installed on the rotating spindle while the wire is being
driven by the downcoiler.
The rotating spindle is driven by means of a mechanical adjustable
speed motor, whereas the downcoiler is driven by a geared
motor.
The uncoiler is loose.
The parts
of engraving machine are the following:
1. Metal
box-like support structure
2. Adjustable speed motor for the spindle
3. Geared motor for the downcoiler
4. Switchboard panel of electric fittings
5. Loose uncoiler
6. Knurling-tools holding spindle
7. Downcoiler with friction clutch
